Song of the Day

JEFF the Brotherhood

JEFF the Brotherhood were briefly on Warner Brothers Records with “creative control” but are now back on their family label Infinity Cat Recordings.

Their new album Wasted on the Dream features the song “Black Cherry Pie” on which the brothers cleverly solicited the flute-playing of the great Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull.

Father John Misty

Josh Tillman’s 2nd album under the moniker Father John Misty is enticingly entitled I Love You, Honeybear.

Even more powerful than his debut Fear Fun, listen here to “Bored in the USA” as well as the title track.

Courtney Barnett

The fresh new voice of Courtney Barnett enthralled us last year with her brilliant debut The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas.

Her new album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, will be with us in March.

The song “Pedestrian At Best” leads the way.
