When we last heard from Porcelain Raft he was living in London via Rome. We featured his 2010 EP Gone Blind.
Now living in New York, he has released his debut album Strange Weekend.
“Drifting In and Out” leads the album and is another lovely song from this itinerant musician.
Porcelain Raft is Mauro Remiddi, born in Rome, living in London. He uses his guitar, samples, loops and keyboards to create this dreamy drifting pop. I love the way he pronounces “Tip”. He’s a new artist defining his own sound with a free download of his new single “Tip of Your Tongue”, from his Gone Blind EP.
