The Arcs

The Arcs is a side project of Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys.

Whereas he is primarily responsible for the music in his prominent duo, the Arcs is a collaboration between his other bandmates.

The album Yours, Dreamily is due in September.

Hanni El Khatib

Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Hanni El Khatib is a San Francisco garage-rocker, now based in L.A.

He moved quickly from creative director for a skateboard company to full-time musician when Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys took notice and produced his 2nd album.

His 3rd, Moonlight, is brand new as we listen to the song “Melt Me”.

Turbo Fruits

Turbo Fruits is a rock band out of Nashville led by Jonas Stein, formerly of the band Be Your Own Pet.

Their 4th album No Control comes to us in the early spring.

“The Way I Want You”, the 1st single, produced by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, is a sweet taste.

Valerie June

Valerie June is a soulful blues artist from Memphis.

She’s self-released 3 bootleg albums in the past but her latest Pushin’ Against the Stone is considered her debut.

Produced in part by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, “You Can’t Be Told” is featured.

Tennis

The husband wife team that is Tennis delighted us with their debut Cape Dory, inspired by their Atlantic sailing journey.

Young and Old is their sophomore record produced by Patrick Carney of the Black Keys.

“Origins” is the first featured track.

The Black Keys

The duo known as The Black Keys released their latest album, Brothers, last week. The band has been very prolific since they formed in 2001 with now their 6th album. Their songs can be heard in a variety of films, advertisements and TV shows. With the blues/rock guitar stylings and vocals of Dan Auerbach and the drumming of Patrick Carney, “Tighten Up” is the Song of the Day.
