We end 2013 on a happy note.
A little different for this site but the song by Pharrell Williams is irresistible.
“Happy” first appeared in the film Despicable Me 2.
Pharrell, who was featured in one of the songs of the year with Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky”, now gives us the very first 24 hour video.

Daft Punk, the French electronic duo, have released their monumental 4th studio album Random Access Memories.
Using mostly live instruments along with their synthesizers the band puts some soul into electronic dance music along with nods to the past as the title of the album suggests.
The ubiquitous “Get Lucky” is pure disco.
I’ve also included “Instant Crush” featuring Julian Casablancas of The Stokes.
