Juneteenth/Ben Harper

On Sunday we celebrate Juneteenth commemorating the end of slavery.

This is our youngest federal holiday. Only the 2nd year.

Ben Harper has just given us a song apropos for not only the holiday, but also how as a country and as individuals, we have not dealt with the effects of slavery.

Today is Juneteenth, theoretically the day marking the end of slavery.

Here are 100 people that have lost their lives due to systemic racism and police brutality since the death of Eric Garner 2014.
